GMP regulations were put in place by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to minimize the risks involved in producing goods, such as supplements and other pharmaceuticals.

Food Safety and Standards Authority of India

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has been created for laying down science based standards for articles of food and to regulate their manufacture, storage, distribution, sale and import to ensure availability of safe and wholesome food for human consumption.

International Organization for Standardization

Food and Drug Administration

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is a federal agency of the Department of Health and Human Services. The FDA is responsible for protecting and promoting public health through the control and supervision of food safety, tobacco products, dietary supplements, prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceutical drugs (medications), vaccines, biopharmaceuticals, blood transfusions, medical devices, electromagnetic radiation emitting devices (ERED), cosmetics, animal foods & feed and veterinary products.
